Tamil rounded forms and a steady combination drill
Use controlled loops, consistent proportions, and a three-pass exercise to make Tamil combinations easier to write.
Keep circles open and intentional
Tamil's rounded forms become difficult to read when a loop closes too early or expands into the next letter. Practise the turn slowly and compare the inner space.
Do not chase perfect geometric circles. Aim for a repeatable movement that preserves the form's opening and direction.
Use one consonant across several vowels
Write one consonant with three vowel combinations. This keeps the stable part of the form visible while the markers change around it.
Then repeat the same exercise with a second consonant. Transfer is the test: the rule should survive a new base form.
Finish with a short word
Write a short word or syllable sequence from a reliable source, first with a guide and then from memory. Review the spacing between the rounded forms.
If one combined unit loses its identity, isolate it for two repetitions and then return to the word. Keep the repair connected to real writing.
