Gurmukhi spacing and pairin forms
Build a careful practice loop for lower attached forms, headline alignment, and readable spacing.
Treat lower forms as part of the unit
Some consonant combinations use smaller attached forms below the main line. Learn the component consonants first, then add one lower form while keeping enough vertical space.
The goal is a complete, readable syllable rather than a stack of disconnected marks.
Review empty space
Look below the headline and around the attached signs. Crowded negative space can make a correct combination difficult to identify.
Rewrite only the most crowded unit, then compare it with the surrounding word.
Keep a language target
Gurmukhi is strongly associated with Punjabi, but a script lesson should still name the language and pronunciation model being used. This keeps sound practice from becoming vague.
Let the script structure guide the hand and a language-specific source guide the reading.
